Ages 12-18. Need a few hours of volunteer time? Come into to library on Tuesdays between 4 and 7 to volunteer!

Learn the basic steps for sketching and simple steps to create beautiful art. Limited supplies and space provided.

Play XBox, PS2, Gamecube. Bring your own remotes, consols and games. Games must be rated E or T (no M or 1st person shooters).

Teens! Here is your chance to become involved in a fun book discussion club! Join your peers for a highly interesting discussion of a blockbuster book. For ages 12-18. Co-sponsored by the City of Surprise Community & Recreation Services.

Meet other anime advocates and watch a film and learn about Japanese culture. Meet in the City of Surprise Room across the hall from the library. For ages 12-18

Come and learn to play chess or polish your skills. Chess matches will be held every Monday. Join us for some friendly competitive chess matches! Monday Matchers will meet in the corner of the children’s story area. For ages 9-18.

Animanga is a hybrid club--that means it is open to PHS students for conference hour club meetings and to all teens (ages 12-18) from the surrounding community for after school club meetings. The members of this club enjoy watching, discussing and drawing Anime & Manga.

What do you want to see for teens @ the Library? Make the Library your own by getting involved and helping us plan great teen programs. Earn volunteer service hours, too! For teens ages 13 – 18.

Take a full-length mock ACT and receive a detailed analysis of your performance, pinpointing individual strengths and weaknesses. This is a 2 session program offered by the Princeton Review; one for the test and one for the analysis. Parents are invited to the follow-up session. In this class, you will learn how to create, format, save and print a document in MS Word. To participate in this class, it is necessary to be able to use a mouse and be able to type using a keyboard.
