"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
The teacher asked.
"A vampire!" the little girl replied.
All the other kids laughed
And said that vampires weren't real
But in her heart
The girl believed
And so she grew up
Waiting for the day to come
When she would become a vampire
And in her dreams a man
No, a vampire
With long black hair and mesmerizing purple eyes
His pale skin, dark clothes, and fangs
All of it revealing
What he truly was
Her gothic vampire
He told her that he would come
And so she waited
Rejected by others
But never caring
For they were not her love
At last the night came
He finally showed himself to her
He grabbed her and they started to kiss
But that was not enough for him
As he drained her blood,
With her last dying breath
She said,
"I love you."
